Ayşegül Kandemir is currently pursuing her Master’s in Cultural Anthropology: Sociocultural Transformation at Utrecht University and works as a student assistant at Infraempire. She holds a BA in Performance Studies and Film Studies from the Free University Berlin. Her research interests include anthropology of law and political violence, with attention to questions of belonging, intimacy and state-building.
